Improving Efficiency with your Project Management System

With the release of the Microsoft Project 2007, a platform has been made available that enables web-based information sharing and facilitates improved visibility into project plans.  There are many capabilities that exist in these tools that can improve efficiencies in using the web-based capabilities of Project Server to deliver projects based on standardized governance policies.  In this session, we will discuss how the Microsoft Project 2007 platform can provide the following benefits:

Utilize SharePoint to drive corporate standards and governance for Projects or Programs.

Measure how teams are performing against standards to identify areas for improvement.

Track team performance against industry-leading market trends.

This demonstration will demonstrate a fully integrated solution for managing projects using Project Professional 2007, Project Server 2007 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.  By using SharePoint Designer 2007, we will review how improvements in governance can be achieved through the use of Workflows.
